Coming from a culinary background, we wanted to bring fresh experimentation to tequila. Our tequilas are all rested in different kinds of wood barrels which give it unique tastes, reminiscent of bourbon. Our Rosa gets its color from the natural fermentation process on the pina that lights the paste.

We’re committed to giving back and protecting the land that makes Casa Rica possible. We’re passionate about sustainable farming, are working to become fully organic, and have adopted innovative composting practices which have even allowed us to speed up plant maturity.

This is largely a love story between our founders and the distillers who make the tequila possible. Don Jose, the owner of our distillery in Jalisco, is deeply committed to maintaining the traditions and crafts of their family-owned business. Zandra, our head distiller, is one the few female distillers in the entire industry. Dream team.

Our tequilas are made in a special distillery in Jalisco that sits at the top of the mountain. The soil absorbs the flavors of the native ahuilote tree, which in turn gives our Blanco a deliciously smooth vanilla flavor that is totally unique to the magic of this place.

We taste really expensive. But we’re not! We want to democratize access to really delicious tequila, not just keep it to the few. We want to open tequila exploration up to everyone, both through our price point and diverse flavor profiles.

Many will find that our tequilas are best enjoyed on their own at room temperature, purposefully sipped. But if you’re not a purist, that’s cool too.
